Vertiport Network -
Air Ecosystem Manager
Landings.co - Join our growing team and build the future of flight
At Landings.co we are building a coast-to-coast network of vertiports to service the landing, storage and charging needs of next generation aircraft fleets, such as drones and eVTOLs. As a member of our small and growing team you will play an important role in the roll-out of over 2,000 purpose-built vertiports, as well as the retrofitting of a range of existing intermodal transportation facilities.
We have several open positions. The ideal candidates will have a passion for building a world where flying cars are commonplace.
As a member of an elite team, regardless of seniority, you will be expected to contribute ideas to our rapidly evolving AI first software infrastructure. Whether it's algorithmically evaluating potential sites, streamlining high volume construction or optimizing ground operations your ideas will be welcome.
Experience with real-estate asset management software, building information systems, energy management systems, geospatial data (arc GIS), digital twins, logistics systems, dynamic spatial deconfliction, weather data, scheduling, ticketing and sensor networks is a plus.
Our current development stack includes; v0.dev, cursor, bolt.new, lovable, replit, and windsurf however this is expected to evolve in step with the state-of-the-art.

Vertiport Network - Air Ecosystem Manager
The Role
We are seeking a Land Ecosystem Manager to design and implement a system that rapidly automates the evaluation and selection of sites for vertiport deployment. You’ll lead the development of a data-driven, geospatial intelligence platform that integrates diverse data sources to determine site suitability - accelerating site acquisition and supporting commercial deployment.
What You’ll Do
Lead development of an automated platform for rapid site screening and evaluation.
Integrate geospatial, zoning, weather, and land-use datasets to analyze site feasibility.
Develop scoring models that account for:
-
Lot size and geometry
-
Adjacent land use and neighboring business types
-
Grid connectivity and capacity
-
Solar potential and clean energy co-location
-
Zoning and permitting constraints
-
Ownership data and transaction readiness
Incorporate demand modeling into site scoring, evaluating:
-
Emergency service accessibility
-
Drone logistics potential
-
Freight and passenger demand modeling by region
Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to prioritize high-potential locations.
Deliver dashboards and reports to drive internal decision-making and external partnerships.
Manage relationships with data providers, geospatial platforms, and GIS consultants.
Contribute to our long-term land acquisition strategy and infrastructure roadmap.
Qualifications
-
5+ years in GIS analysis, urban planning, proptech, or energy infrastructure siting
-
Strong experience with geospatial data tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapbox, Google Earth Engine)
-
Familiarity with U.S. zoning regulations, utility interconnection, and solar siting
-
Experience integrating external APIs (e.g., zoning, utility data, parcel ownership)
-
Understanding of how infrastructure demand relates to land use and geography
-
Bonus: experience in aviation, energy, or drone logistics site planning
-
Comfortable in startup environments—creative, adaptable, hands-on
